Rhinoplasty Financing and Payment Information
Rhinoplasty specialist Dr. Ashkan Ghavami knows how much a person’s physical appearance can affect their level of self-confidence. When someone is embarrassed by the size or shape of their nose, it adversely affects their everyday life. For this reason, Dr. Ghavami offers competitive pricing make rhinoplasty surgery accessible to people on all types of budgets. One of the ways he accomplishes this is by providing patient financing through CareCredit, which offers affordable monthly payments.
In addition to CareCredit payment plans, Dr. Ghavami accepts most forms of payment; see below for his terms, fees and other information related to rhinoplasty expenses.
Acceptable Forms of Payment
Dr. Ghavami accepts all forms of payment, including:
- Cashier’s check
- American Express
- CareCredit financing (see below)
- Alphaeon financing
Dr. Ghavami does not accept the following: online payments, money wires, account transfers or checks (personal or business).
All payments (other than those made through CareCredit financing or insurance) related to the rhinoplasty procedure must be paid in full two weeks prior to the surgery date, otherwise a penalty fee will be incurred.
In instances where someone other than the patient is paying for the rhinoplasty procedure and/or related fees, they must provide a signed and dated credit card authorization along with a copy of the credit card (both front and back), as well as producing original, legal identification.
Not everyone has the financial resources to pay for a plastic surgery procedure in one payment. For this reason, Dr. Ghavami is proud to work exclusively with CareCredit, a convenient financial solution that offers rhinoplasty patients the option of breaking down the cost of their procedure into affordable monthly payments. CareCredit offers extended payment plans (two to five years) that make surgery expenses that much more manageable. Find out if you qualify by completing the CareCredit online application.
Dr. Ghavami is not in-network with any insurances, and rhinoplasty will not be covered by your insurance unless it is deemed medically necessary, a decision made on a per-patient basis. If the surgery is deemed medically necessary, certain PPO plans that include an out-of-network benefits option for specialists or surgeons may be used. In those cases, it is important to note that the related fees (for anesthesia and the use of an outpatient surgical center) may or may not also be covered by insurance.
Dr. Ghavami charges a fee for his pre-surgery consultation, though this fee will be applied to your rhinoplasty expenses should you decide to have the surgery.
